With XELGO, OPED is further developing its proven bead technology for the inlay of orthoses. In combination with VACOped and VACOpedes, OPED takes the established standard of healing for foot and ankle injuries to the next level.

XELGO – these are beads embedded in pads that bond with each other via a highly viscous liquid at twelve contact points as soon as the patient is fitted with the orthosis. The foot sinks into the inlay, is fixed and optimally stabilized.

The technology adapts itself individually to the patient’s anatomy and encloses swelling to relieve pressure. The DryClim® material ensures breathability and ventilation and thus even more comfort. The handling of the orthosis is child’s play thanks to the XELGO technology. This saves time, improves compliance within the healing process and gives patients the earliest possible mobility.
